FUEL INJECTION SERVICE:

Fuel injection service includes cleaning the fuel injector and removing the excessive carbon buildup from the intake system. This service needs to be performed every 60K miles.

Fuel collects foreign matter and substance during transportation from the refinery to the gas station, as well as, from the pump into the fuel tank. The fuel filter catches most of this matter, but as the filter plugs up the fuel pump is forced to work harder. Hesitations and hard cold starts are the result of clogged fuel injectors.

A fuel injection service includes cleaning the fuel injectors, fuel rail and regulator, and carbon with specialized machinery and potent chemicals. The benefits of a clean fuel injection system include higher engine vacuum (engine breathes better) and better fuel mileage. Other results may include easier cold starting and smoother idle.
